Singapore-based World Shipping Council (WSC) has expressed concern over the continuation of forced shipment of un-manifested empty containers at Chittagong port that gravely jeopardizes ship safety and breaches international regulatory compliance.
It said the mandatory loading of empty containers at short also exposes carriers’ to potential sanctions.
