DP World has announced the opening of a new 11,514 square metre dedicated warehouse in Johor, Malaysia, located within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, marking the latest milestone in the expansion of its integrated contract logistics network across Southeast Asia.
The facility is the first of two planned warehouses in Malaysia, with a second location in Kuala Lumpur scheduled to open later this year.
The Johor warehouse provides fast, secure and scalable warehousing and inbound logistics operations, strengthening connectivity between Malaysia, Singapore and key regional trade corridors.
The facility is designed to deliver agile, efficient and reliable contract logistics solutions for customers operating in complex, time-sensitive supply chains.
The Malaysia openings are part of a broader regional expansion, with additional warehouses planned in the Philippines and Thailand before the end of the year.
These investments build on earlier milestones across Asia Pacific, including DP World’s first Singapore warehouse opened in May 2025 and since certified to TAPA FSR standards, as well as new facilities in Hong Kong, Sydney and Icheon, South Korea.
Together with DP World’s network of 16 ports and terminals across Asia Pacific, the expanding contract logistics platform integrates ports, warehousing and inland transport through air, ocean, LCL and intermodal freight services into a connected supply chain ecosystem.
Jeanie Tan, Chief Commercial Officer for Logistics in Asia Pacific at DP World, described the Johor opening as an important step in strengthening the company’s growing logistics footprint across Southeast Asia, framing the strategy of connecting strategic logistics assets to the existing port and terminal network as a means of enhancing end-to-end supply chain solutions for customers across the region.
