Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) handled 12.1 million TEUs during fiscal year 2025 (April 2024–March 2025), representing a 9% increase compared with the previous fiscal year.
The growth was mainly driven by Vizhinjam, India’s newest deep-water container terminal, which handled 1.29 million TEUs during the year after beginning operations in 2024.
Mundra, the group’s largest container gateway, remained the biggest contributor with 8.57 million TEUs, up 4% year-on-year.
Hazira also recorded solid growth, with throughput rising 15% to 878,300 TEUs.
Gangavaram posted the fastest growth rate in the network. Volumes surged 161% to 89,900 TEUs, although from a relatively small base.
In contrast, Kattupalli handled 557,000 TEUs, down 33% from the previous year, while Krishnapatnam reported no container throughput during the period.
The latest figures underline Adani Ports’ continued expansion in India’s container market, supported by the ramp-up of Vizhinjam and steady growth at its established terminals.
