COSCO Shipping Ports handled 61.3 million TEUs during the first half of 2026, representing an 8.2% increase compared with the same period a year earlier.

The overseas performance was driven by higher volumes at Laem Chabang in Thailand and Sokhna in Egypt. Chancay in Peru also continued to ramp up operations, with throughput rising 68.3% to 201,800 TEUs.

Other terminals posting growth included Port Said (22.9%), Ambarli (14.6%), Antwerp (3.7%) and Singapore (1.6%).
