Maersk will begin operating at the new APM Terminals Suape facility in Pernambuco, Brazil, on 1 September 2026.
The carrier will use Aliança services at the terminal, strengthening logistics efficiency and expanding connections between Northeast Brazil and the rest of the country.
The new facility combines modern infrastructure with sustainable practices and advanced technology. According to Maersk, these features will improve the speed, security and reliability of its operations.
Maersk will continue serving its customers through Aliança services following the transition to the new terminal.
The move forms part of the company’s efforts to develop more efficient and sustainable logistics solutions for customers.
It will also support business growth across Brazil by strengthening domestic connectivity between the country’s northeastern region and other major markets.
