MSC will expand its Europe–Indian Subcontinent Himalaya Express with new calls at Abu Qir, King Abdullah and Jeddah.
The revised service will add coverage in Egypt and the Red Sea while changing its calls in Türkiye, according to DynaLiners.
Despite the new Red Sea port calls, the Himalaya Express will not transit the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Instead, vessels will continue sailing in both directions via the Cape of Good Hope.
The service will operate with the following itinerary:
Valencia – Barcelona – Gioia Tauro – Abu Qir – King Abdullah – Jeddah – Aliaga – Valencia – Sines – Las Palmas – Colombo – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Vizhinjam – Las Palmas – Sines – Valencia
